Book Launch News

Hello!

I realise it’s been ages since I posted on here. As it’s the summer, things have been very busy at the bookshop.

I’m gearing up for the publication of my new novel The Hometown Bookshop, which comes out on 21st August! Thank you so much to everyone who has pre-ordered copies.

My big news is that I’m going on a mini book tour to promote the book. I didn’t do this for The Moon and Stars (although I did some lovely one-off events), so I’m very excited!

Here’s a list of dates and venues on the Hometown Bookshop Tour:

Thursday 21st August – Loftus Library – 5pm

I’ll be introducing my book at 5pm as part of the library’s Author Day. There’s a full line-up of authors still to be announced. Keep an eye on The Friends of Loftus Library Facebook page for more details.

Saturday 23rd August – Drop-in Launch Day - Book Corner – 11am-3pm

Call into Book Corner for a drink, a chat and a signed copy.

Tuesday 26th August – BOOK LAUNCH – Saltburn Library - 6pm-8pm

Please join me as I officially launch the book! Featuring a reading, audience Q&A, free drinks and nibbles. The event is free, but please RSVP by dropping me a line at jenna@bookcornershop.co.uk

Thursday 11th September – Hatchards Piccadilly, London – 6pm-8pm

Joint London Launch with thriller author Lou Gilmond.

This event is nearly full, but I still have a few places. Please drop me an email if you’d like to come along.

Sunday 14th September – Helmsley Literary Festival – 7pm-8pm

I’m looking forward to my visit to lovely Helmsley! I’ll be discussing The Hometown Bookshop with fellow author Barbara Greig. Find out more and book here.

Friday 7th November – Whitby Lit Fest – 12pm

Filling a Heart-Shaped Hole: The Romance Panel: Rowan Coleman, Jess Kitching, Jenna Warren

 I’m very excited about this event, which will be my first in-person author panel, at the inaugural Whitby Lit Fest. The full programme looks amazing – I’m particularly excited to see Paul Magrs, one of my favourite authors!
